Entering the “participatory phase” where Sukarya had joined hands with target groups in its project areas, the “Better Health through Community-Based Health Centre” programme was initiated in village Bandhwari, Gurugram with the support of Incentive Destinations and Charities Aid Foundation, India.
Taking the work of empowering women to the next level, existing Self Help Groups (SHG) were strengthened and new ones set up to promote microenterprise development in four villages of Gurugram. The project received support from Godfrey Philips India and Charities Aid Foundation India.
