As per the report based on the conference held recently in Delhi on "Public Health and Nutrition – Freeing Future Generations from Malnutrition," compiled by Sukarya, and was released by ShriAshwini Kumar Choubey, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, more than 40 percent of the world’s stunted children live in India.
Two decades long work of Sukarya on Maternal and Child Health Programs has brought many significant social changes to the rural India, especially in Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana. And to replicate its success in other regions, SUKARYA has now geared up to share the knowledge resource and expertise to other organizations in order to build their capacities to yield greater results in the same area of work.
Sukarya was featured in the opportunity fair during the Microsoft Asian Leadership Conference held on May 24th in its Redmond H.Q. The 19 years journey video of Sukarya was well appreciated by the attendees. All five GlobalGiving Projects of Sukarya registered through Microsoft-Benevity were highlighted during the event.
