Sukarya is a registered, non-governmental organization (accredited by Credibility Alliance for desirable norms effective for 2015-2020) working to improve the health and well being of the underprivileged, especially women, children and adolescents living in the peri-urban slums surrounding the National Capital Region of Delhi and hard-to-reach villages of Haryana and Rajasthan.

Legal Status: Sukarya is registered under the Indian Trust Act 1982 with its Trust Deed registration No 7373 dated 3rd August 2000. FCRA Registration No 231660689 dated 31st March 2006. We are also regsitered under the Income Tax Act 80 G with its Registration No. DIT (E) 2008-2009/S-2784/7901, Income Tax Act 12-A Registration no: 645 dated 15th January 2001.
