"Center of Excellence for Social Change" launched

Two decades long work of Sukarya on Maternal and Child Health Programs has brought many significant social changes to the rural India, especially in Delhi, Rajasthan and Haryana. And to replicate its success in other regions, SUKARYA has now geared up to share the knowledge resource and expertise to other organizations in order to build their capacities to yield greater results in the same area of work.

Sukarya’s Center of Execellence, an exclusive Training & Development Centre has been launched by SUKARYA in Gurgaon with the objective to build the capacities of NGOs & CBOs serving in the area of Maternal and Child health and other associated issues.

The Center of Excellence would be providing two fold trainings:

  1. Thematic training in the area of Maternal and Child Health.
  2. Project Implementation and Administration.

 

Inaugural Training

The first round of one day training workshop on Maternal and Child Health was conducted on 27th July 2017. This training was meant for Auxiliary nurse midwives, Anganwadi Workers, Field supervisors and community health workers from Non-Government Organizations and Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS).
